Arctur - Commitment to Supporting the Development of the Local Economy and Social Responsibility
As a partner of the European Capital of Culture (ECC) Nova Gorica 2025, the company emphasizes the importance of blending economic initiatives with cultural projects and nurturing a vibrant entrepreneurial spirit. Arctur strongly believes that entrepreneurial and innovative thinking can bring real value to projects like the ECC, enriching the region's cultural and economic life while creating lasting benefits that strengthen both the economy and social connections.
Along with its dedication to supporting the local economy, Arctur is deeply involved in initiatives aimed at improving community well-being. One such initiative is the charitable running event, Goricatlon, in which Arctur has been participating as a sponsor and co-organizer for many years. This year’s 12th Goricatlon held on Saturday, December 14, brought together 61 teams with over 300 runners, who collectively completed 3,833 rounds and raised 6,555 EUR. The funds were allocated to the Kozara Primary School Nova Gorica, a school with an adapted educational program, to support children from underprivileged families in attending outdoor school activities.
As the year comes to an end, Arctur would like to take this chance to thank its partners and collaborators for their trust and support.
Tomi Ilijaš, the company’s director, shares this message:
“May your holidays be filled with joy, warmth, and unforgettable moments, and may the New Year bring you innovation, growth, and success in all your endeavors.”
Martina Murovec, the executive director, adds:
“Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to continuing our shared success in the coming year.”
