Arctur hosts CLASSICA plenary meeting 14th and 15th November 2022
The CLASSICA team gathered in Nova Gorica, Slovenia and online on the 14th and 15th of November for our plenary meeting. The meeting was hosted by our technology partner Arctur, who delivers HPC and AI expertise and services to CLASSICA. Once again, we came together in a hybrid format for this bi-yearly meeting.
The discussion focused on the setup and kick-off of Study 1 in CLASSICA, where we will deploy our AI technology as part of a multi-country implementation study. Initial validation has been carried out on our AI-based clinical decision support system for detecting the presence and distribution of cancer tumours. In the coming months and years, the project will move the technology to the next stage of refinement, validation, and use and will contribute to the development of clinical guidelines related to AI use in surgery.
