Tomi Ilijaš presents CLASSICA at the IT2023
Director of Arctur, Tomi Ilijaš, was recently invited to a workshop at the 27th IEEE International Conference – Information Technology – IT2023 that was held from February 15th – 18th in Montenegro.
The workshop, “IT enhanced innovations, case studies: health and agriculture”, was part of the Conference and was hosted by the DigNest Consortium. Ilijaš talked about “AI & eHealth“, with a major focus on the CLASSICA project and how to foster innovation. Arctur delivers the crucial technical backbone of CLASSICA – the CLASSICA platform, which includes our enhanced AI supports for helping surgeons to classify cancer.
Ilijaš also discussed Arctur’s involvement in the QUSTom project, a breakthrough research project, also related to the fight against cancer. QUSTom aims to deliver more modern and cheaper early detection of breast cancer.
There were around 50 participants in attendance at the talk, including young researchers from UDG (University of Donja Gorica) and UCG (University of Crna Gora).
