Budding MEDS started off strong!
We have started the Budding MEDS from MEDS Smart Destinations off strong. The two Slovenian teams have already created thorough guidelines that will guarantee the success of the two projects that the participants of the Budding MEDS came up with. They have been carefully researching the mechanisms of project work and the numerous prospects it presents, led by Katarina Ceglar and Matevž Straus inspired the participants with his knowledge and good practices of digitalizing cultural heritage.
As part of the European Capitals of Smart Tourism strategy, MEDS project is creating smart destinations for accessible and sustainable tourism. From practical case studies to creative fixes, the participants are prepared for amazing obstacles and advancements.
Tourism 4.0 team has finished in-depth discussions with interested participants. Katarina and Matevž have been mentoring two projects that are upcoming and are making sure that the activities are in line with the expectations of the participants of Budding MEDS.
Tourism 4.0 is happy to share that the mentoring phase is now complete, and the participants are developing two very exciting project assignments. The dedication to developing smart tourism and making sure that travel destinations are accessible and sustainable are reflected in these developing projects.
