R-NEA-SV EU-Funded Project

7. 2. 2024 / Project announcements Development of Low-Emission Household Appliances and Verification Systems

Arctur, in collaboration with Gorenje and Dewesoft, is actively engaged in the project titled "Development of Low-Emission Household Appliances and Verification Systems (R-NEA-SV)," co-financed by the European Union's NextGeneration EU initiative. Scheduled from January 2023 to December 2025, with a total budget of EUR 2,479,668.68 (EUR 999,902.45 from the EU), the project aims to innovate in the development of environmentally friendly household appliances.

The project includes the development of:

  • Low-Emission Washing Machine (NEPS): Designed to reduce water, energy, and detergent consumption while minimizing noise and fabric wear, thereby contributing to a reduction in microplastic release into the environment.

  • Low-Emission Refrigerator (NEH): Two types will be developed—one achieving the highest energy efficiency class (A) and another with an ultra-low noise level of 32 dB, aimed at leading the market in environmental performance.

In addition to appliance development, the project will establish infrastructure and systems for the Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) Center. This center will enable precise evaluation of appliance noise levels, vibrations, and subjective noise perception parameters, ensuring compliance with rigorous environmental and performance standards.

Through this initiative, Arctur, Gorenje, and Dewesoft aim to set new benchmarks in household appliance sustainability and efficiency, supported by EU funding.
