Project partners of the SEISMEC project convened in Rotterdam to kick off activities, demonstrating human-centricity across various industry sectors, scales, and sociotechnical contexts in the EU. By empowering workers in the co-design and development of new technologies, the project aims to create a skills-driven, creativity-infused industrial landscape focused on high-quality, sustainable jobs, prioritizing worker security and satisfaction.

SEISMEC will conduct pilots in 14 countries during its implementation phase. In Slovenia, the pilot will target the tourism sector. Arctur will collaborate with Green Karst destination to develop a platform for monitoring tourism flows, incorporating demand estimation methods to improve work allocation among tourism providers, fostering regional collaboration for joint business benefits, and skill workers to utilize these resources effectively.
