University of Rijeka hosted a two-day event, bringing together science and industry. The focus of the event was the launch of Bura - the most powerful supercomputer in the Adriatic region.

The event was powered by conference, workshops and exhibitions in the field of high-performance computing, cloud computing and storage.

It provides students, scientists and industry with opportunities for further education, biotechnological research, and scientific work.

Arctur presented HPC cloud services as well as the progress on several EU projects, dealing with high-performance computing, cloud computing and storage, such asNextGenIO, CAxMan and IOStack. Some projects, especially NextGenIO, addresses the challenges with exascale computing and Bull, the provider of Bura supercomputer is paving the path to exascale with it's Sequana project.
